Fraudulent Insurance Claims
Members of our civil team with a particular interest in fraudulent claims have developed expertise in this ever-changing area. We have an equal balance of both claimant and defendant work.
Our barristers have considerable experience in claims where fraud is an issue, such as low velocity impact claims, phantom passenger claims, staged and induced collision claims. We also have expertise in multi-party fraud claims. Indeed one of our barristers, Peter Quegan, successfully represented 3 of 7 claimants in two cars in a 3-day multi-track trial in which fraud was alleged.
