Administrative & Public Law

Upholding civil liberties and human rights lies at the heart of everything we do.  Barristers at Kenworthy's Chambers have a wealth of experience in bringing and defending judicial review challenges to the legality of the actions of public bodies.

Our barristers regularly appear in public law cases: prison law and challenges to unlawful detention, community care and statutory duties to children, immigration law and challenges to unlawful detention or removal, homelessness judicial review, and challenges to central government decisions, such as the withdrawal of sponsor licences from colleges.

We have many barristers with individual specialities within administrative law, as listed in their individual profiles.  They undertake advisory work on judicial review matters in line with Chambers' quick turnaround policy and will consider pro bono work on its merits.
