Experience
Nadia is an experienced family practitioner, accepting instructions in both Public and Private law proceedings. She recently transferred to the Bar having practiced as a solicitor for 12 years in both private family practice and local authorities. During Nadia's time in private practice she became a member of the Law Society children panel.
She has a wealth of experience in Children law, having represented clients and local authorities in public and private proceedings; with experience in highly complex matters including Forced Marriage, Female Genital Mutilation, Non-Accidental Injury, Wardship and Deprivation of Liberty.
During Nadia's time in private practice she managed matters including Divorce proceedings, Ancillary Relief, Co-Habitation cases; representing clients at First Hearings, First Hearings and Dispute Resolution Appointments, Review Hearings, Finding of Fact and contested Final Hearings.
Nadia also practices in the area Court of Protection and deals with applications relating to deputyship, general welfare issues. Nadia represents local authorities and litigation friends, including the Official Solicitor.
